Mujer Poderosa y Soñadora.

Hola, I’m Ilse — social worker, storyteller, cycle-breaker, and founder of La Casita de Hope.

La Casita was born from the quiet corners of my healing, the loud prayers of my ancestors, and the fierce love I carry as a mother, daughter, sister, friend and mujer. As a first-generation Latina with roots in Mexico and Guatemala, I’ve lived the tension of holding dreams and generational wounds at the same time.

My work as a clinical social worker taught me that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s layered. It’s sacred. And it’s deeply cultural. After years of supporting others through trauma, grief, and generational pain, I realized I needed to create a space that honored our way of healing one rooted in language, community, identity, and corazón.

That’s how La Casita de Hope came to life.
Not just as a brand, but as a movement.
Not just for me but for all of us learning to turn pain into purpose.

Every collection here carries a message. Every piece is a mirror.
I hope you find yourself reflected in these words, these colors, this casa.

Aquí sanamos juntxs. Aquí soñamos despiertxs. Aquí seguimos.

Con amor y propósito,
Ilse Calixto
Founder of La Casita de Hope
